Lancaster water polo player Tom Curwen will be making the 11,000 mile journey to the other side of the world, Australia, on 15th January. He will spend 3 months their and will be back in England on 15th April.

Tom will play for a team Andy Squires and himself did in 2005, The Victorian Tigers in Melbourne. He will be getting paid to play and he will be put up in accommodation.

The Victorinan Tigers have finshed in second place and now are now in sydney for the finals where the top 6 teams come to decide medal positions. Tom finished in second place in the top goal scorers with 51 goals.
